Kara Doll

Kara Dress up Doll

Made using worsted weight yarn and size G/ 4mm hook. Kara stands 18 inches tall.
Made starting from toe to the top of the head, no sewing needed to attach the arms.

Gauge: Gauge is not a big deal on this pattern,as long as same size yarn and hook are used for all the pattern pieces.Since tension may vary in different circumstances,i suggest finishing the parts that must be the same such as arms and legs.
** You can use smaller hook size and other yarn weight to make your doll the size of your preference.
  Other items needed:
- safety eyes (16mm), beads, button, or your preferred method for making eyes
- tapestry needle for stitching head closure
- stitch marker

- To make the clothing fit,use the same yarn weight and hook size to make the Maya basic doll.
- If you have tendency to over stuff your doll, i recommend that you go up a hook size when making the clothing in this pattern

    1. Sometimes I have that problem too. If you didnt figure it out yet. For me, sometimes I miss the single crochet, increase sequence that you have to do 3x. Sometimes I miss one. Hope this helps.

  2. At the end of round 3, where you are suppose to (Inc in next, SC in st) repeat 3 times. I only have enough sts to do it once. I followed round 2 perfectly so I don't know where the extra 2 times should go. I usually leave it out.
