Maya Basic doll pattern

https://ayarnfulday.blogspot.com/2017/03/maya-basic-doll-pattern.html

If you love making dolls but don't like sewing parts, you will like this pattern for sure.
Pattern for this doll's leg, body, and head is designed to be crocheted all together.
The arms have to be crocheted ahead for later attachment using crochet as you go method.

Gauge:
Gauge is not a big deal on this pattern,as long as same size yarn and crochet hook are used for all the pattern pieces.Since tension may vary in different circumstances,i suggest finishing the parts that must be the same such as arms and legs in one sitting.
This pattern is worked from bottom to top by working in continuous round or spiral method.
You can use this pattern to create larger or smaller doll by using bulkier or finer yarn. You  may need to adjust the size or safety eyes.

Pattern is written in US Terminology.

Abbreviation:

Sc- single crochet
Ch- chain
Inc- increase
Dec- invisible decrease
St- stitch
Sts- stitches

Materials
-Light worsted / dk yarn
-3.75mm / F crochet hook
-poly fiber fill for stuffing

  1. What round do you suggest attaching the arms at as I do not see any mention of attaching them in your pattern? Also, do you leave a long tail to attach them or are they crocheted on in the round?

    1. When I made my first i used plain black safety eyes and got them at the craft store.
For the most i just did stitches a couple apart and just under over. Does that make sense?

  27. Hello Nelly, I'm making your Maya doll now and having a great time with it. The question I have at this time is, Do you stuff the doll as you go along? It really doesn't mention how to do that in the pattern. I stuffed the arms when I finished them and they are waiting for me to finish the body so I can attach them. Thak you for sharing and thanks for your help. Gloria

  38. The Macujo or The Mac method is an extensive method consisting of seven hair-cleansing steps. These steps blast open the strands to flush out all toxins. This method is preferred by many due to its convenience. You can perform this remedy at home using very simple, everyday products and, of course, the accomplishment it claims is indescribable. To free yourself from any doubts, you need to own your very own Drug Test Kit. We suggest a simple one-step screening test by QUICKEST. Visit: https://www.urineworld.com/
