Madelline's ruffled dress

Madelline doll in her purple dress.This little dress is so easy to make.
This pattern is written in US Terminology.

Abbreviation
Ch- chain
Sc- single crochet
Inc- increase
Dec- decrease
Dc- double crochet



Pattern note  
-To make the dress fit To your Madelline doll, i recommend using the same yarn weight and crochet hook size used to make your doll.
-Chain 1 made at the beginning of row/round does not count as a stitch, unless stated.

Pattern start
  Ch 40 cut yarn and tie off
Row1: Standing sc on 11th chain, sc on next 19sts (20sc)
Row2: ch 1, hdc on next 3 sts,chain 4 skipping 3sts, hdc on next 7 sts, chain 4 skipping 3sts, hdc on next 4sts (22 hdc) join

Row3/ Round1: ch 2, dc all around (22 dc)join

back

front

Round2: ch 2, (3dc blo in next st, 3dc flo in next st) repeat all around, join
Round3:  Slip stitch in each stitch around, working in back loops only for neater finish.
Cut the yarn and weave in yarn end.
