Maya basic clothes pattern

Maya's simple outfit pattern includes tank top, pants, slippers and hair cap.
To make the clothing fit be sure to use the same yarn weight and hook size used for making the basic doll. This pattern is written in US Terminology.

 Abbreviation
Ch- chain
Dc- double crochet
Inc- increase
Sts- stitches


Tank top:


Made with mint green color yarn
Ch 51, join with slip stitch. Be careful not to twist the chain
Round 1: ch 1, sc in each st around,join  (ch 1 does'nt count as first stitch)
Round 2: ch 2,(dc in next 15 sts, dec( repeat around,join (48)
Round 3: ch 2,(dc in next 14 sts, dec) repeat around,join (45)
Round 4: ch 2,(dc in next 13 sts, dec) repeat around,join (42)
Round 5: ch 2,(dc in next 12 sts, dec) repeat around,join (39)
Round 6: ch 2,(dc in next 11 sts, dec) repeat around (36)
Round 7 / Row 1: ch 4,turn your work, dc in next 6 sts, chain 8 skip 6 sts (first arm hole made), dc in next 12 sts, ch 8 skip 6 sts (2nd arm hole made), dc in next 6 sts (40)
**Ch 4 made at the beggining of round7 will be the button hole, sew button the end of row. Row 2:ch 1, turn your work, sc in each stitch around.

Cut yarn, finish of and weave in end.


Pants:


With gray yarn

 Legs: make two

Ch 24, join, careful not to twist the chain.

Round 1-8: ch2 ( doesnt count as first stitch), dc in each st around, join (24)
finish off first leg, cut yarn leaving long tail for sewing later.
Continue working on your second leg
Round 9: ch 2, dc in each stitch around, joining both legs (48)
With the yarn tail of your first leg, sew the gaps close.
Round 10: ch 2, (dc in next 15 sts, inc in next) repeat around, join (51)
Round 11-12: ch 2, dc in each st around,join (51)
Round 13: ch 2, hdc in each stitch around (51)
Cut yarn, fasten off and weave in end.


Slippers:


With purple yarn

Round 1: ch9, on 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 sts, 3sc in next st, sc in next 6 sts, inc in next (18)
Round 2: inc in next st, sc in next 6sts, inc in next st, 3sc in next st, inc in next st, sc in next 6 sts, inc in next st, 3 sc in next st (26)
Round 3: inc in next st, sc in next 8 sts, inc in next st, (sc in next st ,inc in next) repeat x2,  sc in next 8 sts,  (inc in next, sc in next st,) repeat x2 (32)
Round 4: sc in next st, inc in next, sc in next 8 sts, inc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, inc in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts, inc in next st, sc in next 8 sts, inc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, inc in next 2 sts, sc in next st (40)
Round 5:  (use white yarn) 1sc in each st around working on back loops only (40)

Round 6-8:(use purple yarn) sc in each st around (40)
Round 9: sc in next 11 sts, dec 6x, sc in next 17 sts (34)
Round 10: sc in next 8 sts., dec 6x, sc in next 14 sts (28)

Cut yarn, fasten off and weave in end.


Hair cap:

Round 1: 6 sc in magic circle (6)

Round 2: inc in each stitch around (12)
Round 3: (sc in next stitch, inc in next) repeat around  (18)
Round 4: (sc in next 2 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (24)

Round 5: (sc in next 3 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (30)
Round 6: (sc in next 4 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (36)
Round 7: (sc in next 5sts, inc in next) repeat around  (42)
Round 8: (sc in next 6 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (48)
Round 9: (sc in next 7 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (54)
Round 10: (sc in next 8 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (60)

Round 11: (sc in next 9 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (66)
Round 12-16: sc in each stitch around (66)  Join with slip stitch
Round 17: skip 2 stitches, (5 dc in next stitch, skip 2 stitches, slip stitch in next) repeat 4 times.4 shells made. Cut yarn, fasten off and weave in end.

Add fringe in the remaining 42 stitches of round 17.
