Happy Star Amigurumi


Materials Needed:
• Worsted yarn
• Size 3.5mm crochet hook
• 8 mm Safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• Fiberfill for stuffing

Skill level: Beginner

Terms used: All terms are in USA terminology 
Ch- chain 
Sc- single crochet 
Inc- increase 
Dec- decrease



Pattern start:


All pieces are done in continuous round,without join at the end of every round.
Make two circles.


First circle:
Round 1: In magic ring, ch 1, 6 Sc 
Round 2: Inc in each st around (12)
Round 3: (1 Sc, Inc) repeat around (18)
Round 4: (2 Sc, Inc) repeat around (24)
Round 5: (3 Sc, Inc) repeat around (30)
Round 6: (5 Sc, Inc) repeat around (35)
Finish off.
•Place safety eyes in Round 5 six stitches apart.


Second circle:
Round 1: In magic ring, ch 1, 6 Sc 
Round 2: Inc in each st around (12)
Round 3: (1 Sc, Inc) repeat around (18)
Round 4: (2 Sc, Inc) repeat around (24)
Round 5: (3 Sc, Inc) repeat around (30)

Round 6: (5 Sc, Inc) repeat around (35)
Continue working from second circle, you will now join the two pieces.


First point of the star:
Round 1: Work 7 Sc from second circle. Place stitch marker on the first stitch made. Work another 7 Sc in the first circle made (14)
Round 2: Sc where you place the stitch marker in round 1, and next stitches around (14)
Round 3: Sc in next 6 stitches, Dec, Sc in next 5 stitches, Dec (12)
Round 4: (Sc in next 4 sts, Dec) x2 (10)
Round 5: (Sc in next 3 sts, Dec) x2 (8)
Round 6: (Sc in next 2 sts, Dec) x2 (6)
Round 7: (Sc in next stitch, Dec) x2 (4)
Finish off. Cut yarn leaving long tail, using yarn needle thread through each stitch pull tight to close. Stuff the point of the star.

Second point: 
Round 1: Count 7 stitches away from the first pont, on the 7th stitch attach yarn.

Chain 1, Sc in same stitch and next 6 stitches, Sc in next 7 stitches of the other circle.
Round 2: Sc where you place the stitch marker in round 1, and next stitches around (14)
Round 3: Sc in next 6 stitches, Dec, Sc in next 5 stitches, Dec (12)
Round 4: (Sc in next 4 sts, Dec) x2 (10)
Round 5: (Sc in next 3 sts, Dec) x2 (8)
Round 6: (Sc in next 2 sts, Dec) x2 (6)
Round 7: (Sc in next stitch, Dec) x2 (4)
Finish off. Cut yarn leaving long tail, using yarn needle thread through each stitch pull tight to close.  Stuff the point of the star.

Repeat procedure of second point to make the remaining 3 point of the star. 
While finishing the last point stuff the star's body firmly.
