Maya Dance outfit

For Maya its always a good day to dance.

Notes: 

• To make the clothing fit, use the same yarn weight and hook size used to make your Maya Basic Doll. 

• If you have tendency to over stuff your doll,I suggest you go up a hook size  when making clothing in this pattern. 

• Chain made in the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch unless stated. 

• When it said join, it means join with slip stitch.

HAIR CAP: 

Round 1: 6 sc in magic circle (6) 

Round 2: inc in each stitch around (12) 

Round 3: (sc in next stitch, inc in next) repeat around  (18) 

Round 4: (sc in next 2 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (24) 

Round 5: (sc in next 3 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (30) 

Round 6: (sc in next 4 sts, inc in next) repeat around  (36)

Stuff lightly and sew on edge of bun to the stitches of hair cap (round5).

Ch 75,fasten off. 

Row 1: attach yarn in 26th chain and work a standing sc, sc in next 29 sts. (30sc) 

Turn your work. 

Row 2: (skip 2sts, 3dc-ch1-3dc in next st, skip 2sts, sc in next st) repeat across. (5 shells) 

Finish off,cut yarn and weave in yarn tail. 

  

  

DRESS: 

Ch 33 

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across (32sc)  Ch2,turn 

Row 2: (1dc,inc in next st)repeat across (48dc) Ch1,turn 

Row 3: work 7sc, ch6 skipping 10 sts(1st arm hole made), work 14 sc, ch6 skipping 10 sts(2nd arm hole made), 7sc (40sts) Ch2,turn 

Row 4: 10 dc,inc in next st, 18 dc, inc in next st, 10 dc (42dc)

Place stitch marker on the 27th st. 

Round 5: ch 1 sc in each st around (26sc) 

Finish off cut yarn and weave in yarn tail. 

Proceed to second leg. 

Attach yarn where you place the stitch marker, 

Round 4: Ch 1 sc in the remaining unwork stitches,join to first sc, NOT your chain 1. (26sc) 

Round 5: ch 1 sc in each st around (26sc) 

Finish off cut yarn and weave in yarn tail. 

  

SHOE: 

Round 1: ch9, on 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 sts, 3sc in next st, sc in next 6 sts, inc in next (18sc)

Sc in each st around,do not join, work 50 chains.  Fasten off, cut yarn.
