Maya Playtime outfit

Playtime (boy) was a hit and i knew i just had to make a matching girl outfit.
The outfit in this pattern is designed to fit my Maya basic doll. You can find my basic doll pattern here
Pattern includes hair cap, shirt, skirt and Mary Jane shoes

This pattern is written in US Terminology.

Notes 
-To make the clothing fit be sure to use the same yarn weight and hook size used for making Maya basic doll.
-If you have tendency of over stuffing your doll, i recommend that you go up a hook size when making the clothing in this pattern.
-The first stitch will always be in the same stitch where the chain is.
-Chain made in the beginning of round is not a stitch unless stated.
-When it said join, it means join with slip stitch
- Always join in the first stitch made not the chain made at the beginning of the round.

 Pattern start:

Hair cap
Round 1: 6 sc in magic circle (6)
Round 2: inc in each stitch around (12
Round 3: (sc in next stitch, inc in next) repeat around (18)
Round 4: (sc in next 2 sts, inc in next) repeat around (24)
Round 5: (sc in next 3 sts, inc in next) repeat around (30)
Round 6: (sc in next 4 sts, inc in next) repeat around (36)
Round 7: (sc in next 5sts, inc in next) repeat around (42)
Round 8: (sc in next 6 sts, inc in next) repeat around (48)
Round 9: (sc in next 7 sts, inc in next) repeat around (54)
Round 10: (sc in next 8 sts, inc in next) repeat around (60)
Round 11: (sc in next 9 sts, inc in next) repeat around (66)
Round 12: hdc in each stitch around (66)
Round 13: sc in each stitch around working on back loops only (66)

Cut yarn, leaving long tail. 
Using tapestry needle use tail to weave in and out up the join of round 12, pull to gather, repeat 3x. fasten off and hide loose end. Curls 
ch 17 (add chain if you want the curls longer), 3 dc in 3rd chain from hook and each stitch across.
Fasten off.
Sew curls on the side of the hair cap. Add as many curls you prefer. 

Shirt: 
Ch 33
Row 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook and each stitch across (32)
Row 2: ch 2, (1hdc, inc in next st) repeat  around (48)
Row 3: ch 1, 7sc, ch 6 skip 10 sts, work 14 sc, ch 6 skip 10 sts, 7sc (40)
Row 4/ Round 1: ch 2, dc in each stitch across, join with slip stitch (40)
Round 2: ch 2, work 11 hdc, inc in next stitch, 19 hdc, inc in next stitch, 8 
Round 5: ch 2, *work 15 hdc, inc in next stitch, repeat * around, join (51)
Round 6: ch 2, dc in each stitch around (51)
Cut yarn, finish off with invisible join.
Weave in end.

Sleeves:
Round 1: Attach yarn under the arm center of  the 6dc's. chain 2 and work 16 hdc evenly around the arm. Join in the first stitch made not the chain made .
Round 2:hdc in each st around. Finish off with invisible join.
 
Suspended skirt:
Ch 60, join being careful not to twist chain
Round 1: ch 1, work 4 sc, 3sc in next st, 20 sc, 3sc in next st, 8 sc, 3sc in next st, 20 sc, 3sc in next st, 4 sc, join (68)
Round 2: ch 1, work 6 sc, ch12 skip 22 sts, 12 sc, ch12 skip 22 sts, 6 sc, join (48)
Round 3: ch2, hdc in each stitch around, join (48)
Round 4: ch 2, *work 15 dc, inc in next stitch, repeat * around, join (51)
Round 5: ch 2, *work 16 dc, inc in next stitch, repeat * around, join (54)
Round 6: ch 2, work 13 dc, inc in next stitch, 26 dc, inc in next st, 13 dc, join (56)
Round 7-10: ch 2, dc in each st around, join (56)
Round 11: ch 1, * sc, skip next st, 4dc in next st, skip next st, repeat * around, join ( 14 shells, 15 sc)
Cut yarn, fasten off and weave in end.

Optional heart pocket:
Magic ring, ch 1, 3dc, 4hdc, 1dc, 4hdc, 3dc, ch 1, slip stitch in magic ring.
Cut yarn, pull ring tightly closed. Yarn end should be at the wrong side of the heart, weave in end.
  
Under wear:
Ch 52, Join
Round 1-3: ch2, dc in each st around (52dc)
First leg
Round 4: ch 1, work 26 sc, join to first sc, NOT your chain 1. (26sc) Place stitch marker on the 27th st. 
Round 5: Ch 1, Sc in each stitch around (26sc) 
Finish off, cut yarn and weave in yarn tail.
Proceed to second leg.
Attach yarn where you place the stitch marker,
Round 4: Ch 1 sc in the remaining unwork stitches,join to first sc, NOT your chain 1. (26sc)
Round 5: ch 1 sc in each st around (26sc)
Finish off cut yarn and weave in yarn tail.
  
Mary Jane shoes:
Make two
Round 1: ch9, on 2nd ch from hook, 7sc, 3sc in next st, 6sc, inc in next (18)
Round 2: inc in next st, 6sc, inc in next st, 3sc in next st, inc in next st, 6sc, inc in next st, 3sc in next st (26)
Round 3: inc in next st, 8sc, inc in next st, (sc in next st ,inc in next) x2, sc in next 8 sts, (inc in next, sc in next st,) x2 (32)
Round 4: hdc in next st, inc in next, 8hdc, inc in next st, 2hdc, inc in next 2 sts, 2hdc, inc in next st, 8hdc, inc in next st, 2hdc, inc in next 2 sts, hdc in next st (40)
Round 5: sc in each st around working on back loops only (40)
Round 6-8: sc in each st around (40)
Round 9: work 11 sc, dec 6x, 17sc (34)
Round 10: work 8 sc, ch 8 skip 12 stitches, 14 sc
Round 11: sc in each st around
Fasten off and weave in end.

Flower
Magic ring, *ch 2, 2 dc together, ch 2, slip stitch in magic ring, repeat * 6x (6 petals)
Cut yarn, pull ring tightly closed. Yarn end should be at the wrong side of the flower, weave in  end.
Sew flower in the side of shoe near the strap.
